Nathan Posner is a photojournalist and reporter, originally from Atlanta, currently based out of Washington, DC and Atlanta.
Currently studying at Georgetown University, obtaining a M.A. in Democracy & Governance, with a focus on elections and democratic backsliding. He previously completed a B.A. in Government with minors in Journalism and Hebrew, graduating from Georgetown University in May of 2023.
I have been covering events on a professional basis for over 5 years, covering everything from major sporting events and conventions to numerous elections, political events, and civil unrest.
Due to Covid-19 I was home in Atlanta through Fall 2021 and began working as a full-time photojournalist during that time, focusing initially on the George Floyd Uprising followed by the Presidential and Senate elections.
I am largely focused on covering political campaigns and elections, but I also enjoy covering protests and sports when I can.
Available for freelance assignments within the continental United States and worldwide, pending availability.
I have protective equipment for both biological and conflict scenarios, and related trainings.
Completed five-month EMT course and is licensed as an Emergency Medical Technician, as well as wild land firefighting training.
Received 4-day HEFAT training and certification in March of 2022.
Notable for bothering political reporters and visual journalists at campaign events since the age of 12.
